OCHSNER Warmepumpen GmbH offers a wide range of Air source Heat pumps solutions for domestic hot water, heating and active cooling as well up to 65 kW, for large buildings and commercial applications in cascade options. They were one of the first companies in Europe to manufacture heat pumps on an industrial scale, and now sell to countries across Europe including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and Norway.
An appropriately sized and installed heat pump system can significantly reduce your carbon emissions, whilst also saving on fuel bills against oil, LPG and electric storage heaters. The NIBE monobloc air-water range consists of the new Inverter Heat pumps NIBE F2040-8, 12 and 16 kW for residential use and the new NIBE F2300 14 and 20 kW with a two-stage ventilator for higher economy, for large properties and commercial use.
These NIBE products have been developed with special attention paid to making installation as smooth as possible. For example, they have always included anti-vibration water connection with the outdoor unit. A broad accessory programme is available and there are numerous possible combinations.
OCHSNER utilises the heat source air with heat pumps in split construction – Horizontal Split Evaporator Technology. With split appliances of the GMLW Series from 5 to 65 kW (See P9-13 and 28), the air heat exchanger is mounted horizontally, these being decisive for efficiency and operational safety.
OCHSNER recommends the installation of horizontal split appliances, to achieve a high energy efficiency and low noise levels. This technology enables Ochsner to achieve one of the highest efficiency whilst also being one of the quietest.
With a COP of 4.4 at Air 2°C/Water 35°C Ochsner have produced a truly efficient air source system to rival the cost effectiveness of ground source heat pumps. Test results from the Heat pump testing centre in Buchs (Switzerland), available online.
Glendevon Energy's in house installers and service team have exceptional experience and training in on NIBE and OCHSNER heat pumps – and are increasingly called in to trouble shoot on heat pump systems installed by other companies.
We work with underfloor heating suppliers, ground works and borehole contractors, and/or customer's own contractors/ work force to ensure a smooth installation process and the highest functioning system.
Heat pumps are specified on the principle that they should be fully sized to the demand and not rely on auxiliary heat sources, such as internal immersion units. The objective is also to keep the running hours of the compressor low to ensure the heat pump's life span is maximized.
MCS accredited air source systems range from simple phase 230V up to 19 kW, and 3 phase 400V systems up to 35kW. Higher outputs are available in Cascade options.
