Heat Pumps are a great solution for well insulated properties, and work by delivering a consistent background heat across the whole property. We take great care to ensure that the size of heat pump is proportionate to the size of property, and that the underfloor heating and/or radiators are appropriately sized and installed to deliver the heat required.

For Ground Source Heat Pumps Glendevon Energy have installed borehole and trench systems, and these can be highly effective for larger properties or greater heat/ hot water demands. Ground Source systems can be run from single phase or three phase electricity supplies.
Having installed many MCS accredited, RHI and NDRHI compliant Ground and Air Source Heat Pump systems 2006 – 2018 we then focused on maintenance and optimising performance of existing heat pump systems installed by others.
This was in response to the overwhelming demand for service, repair and maintenance of heat pumps – a demand that is poorly met in our experience.
Having grown our customer base and expertise, and qualified in Heat Geek, we are now responding to installation demand – focusing on replacing existing systems that aren’t fit for purpose or which are old and out of date – watch this space for our return to MCS accreditation and new installations.
